Property Details
Located in the heart of the Landes - Biarritz just 45 minutes drive, Spain on hour away and ski resorts one and a quarter hours away - this beautiful Maison Bourgeoise is set in two and a half acres of parkland with a beautiful swimming pool, outdoor spa/hot tub, ten acres of forest for you to explore and a small fishing pond.

Guests may try their luck at our fishing pond which contains carp, tench, rudd etc. All we ask is that you put the fish back afterwards, without harm, and that you keep the surrounding area clean and tidy.

The property is wheelchair friendly - the pool having a gentle ramp with handrail for easy access, as well as steps.

Le Grand Parrocq is run by English owners Mick and Nix Thompson, who live in the house together with their 14 year old son, Chris, and their two dogs - Pivo and Kirsty. We are open all year round.

Parking is available in our private car park.

Well behaved pets are always welcome.

We shall open in June 2005 but bookings are now being taken.

We are conveniently located near the Dax - Mont de Marsan route N124.

Please note that Parrocq is not shown on any map of France, but lies between the villages of Meilhan and Campagne. It does however have its own exit, signposted from the N124.

Tariff
Double and twin rooms available from 50 Euros per night for two people, including breakfast. Single bookings available from 35 Euros per night including breakfast. It may be possible for a child to share a room with two adults if required at an extra cost of just 10 Euros per night. Please enquire when booking


Table d’hote (dinner) available for an additional 18 Euros per person per night (please let us know in advance). Served every night except Thursday, why not enjoy some of the local specialities including duck and foi gras. Aperitif, wine and soft drinks available with your meal at no extra cost.
