La Grande Marque is set in 12 acres of secluded parkland awary from main roads, we offer calm and tranquility and yet are within easy reach of shops, restaurants and many of the historic sights that make Dordogne so fascinating.

Situated just 2 km from the local town and within 20 km of many wonderful attractions including Beynac, Sarlat and Castelnaud.

We offer swimming, tennis court, children's play area, a well equipped gym with sauna and steam room. With canoeing, horse riding and golf just a few minutes drive, this is a fantastic holiday location. Wander in the woods, sit in the walnut grove or just admire the view.

The local area is full of great restaurants, historic sites, chateaux and markets.

Out of season there is still plenty to do including painting courses and cookery classes.

Gites: Perigord & Noix (sleeps 8/16): Set facing west, with fabulous views, are a pair of 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom gites - formerly a tobacco barn - now comfortable accommodation with 2 double and 4 single beds.

Open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen and large furnished terrace with barbecue.

Studio (sleeps 2/4): An attractive split level barn conversion.

The Kitchen has a microwave, gas hob and fridge freezer.

Bathroom and separate WC.

A hallway and stairs lead to a spacious living area with a double sofa bed.

The raised bedroom area has a king-sized bed (or 2 singles). There is also a secluded garden with furniture and barbecue and use of the owner's pool.

The Cottage (sleeps 8): Built on 3 floors with 2 furnished terraces, one facing west with splendid views over the Dordogne, the other onto a courtyard garden.

Open plan living area with a huge fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and washing machine in cloakroom/WC.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed and shower room.

Bedroom 2 has a double and single bed.

Bedroom 3 has one single bed and bunk beds and shared bathroom.

The cottage has a private drive and parking, with a large garden and shared pool.

Bed & Breakfast: In the main farmhouse there are 4 en-suite bedrooms one with mezzanine floor sleeping up to 4 persons and 2 further double and twin rooms in an adjacent converted barn. These are suitable for disabled guests.

Guests may enjoy all the facilities at La Grande Marque including use of the owner's pool.

There is also a garden area with barbecue and fridge facilities.
